Collectively our members represent in the region of 230,000 engineers between them and we are supported by the Royal Academy of Engineering, SETNET, the Engineering Council UK (ECUK) and the Engineering and Technology Board (ETB). 

The Alliance was founded in March 2002 to provide a co-ordinated, simplified and consistent approach to educational initiatives related to engineering. To this end we have undertaken the following:

EEA Projects

• EEA Report identifying why more talented people are not being drawn to the engineering profession.
• EEA Guidelines for use in assessing initiatives promoting 'engineering' in schools.
